I promise i'm still alive!!!

Its been over a month since i've last blogged i think. I have good reasons though!

I announced on my FB page that I wasn't taking orders and would update you on that soon.....

Well, the reason being is, I got a full-time teaching position!!!!

I'm so excited to have this Job! I graduated 2 years ago and just took my time finding a job so i could be a stay at home mommy for awhile! Its been AWESOME staying at home with boys for the past 4 years. But, it was time to help out with some of the financial duties in my home. I'm so grateful God saw it fitting at this time in my life to bless me with a great job surrounded by great friends (p.s. i love my co-workers).

ANYWAYS....what you want to know is....Am i taking orders??? Well, not at this moment. I am NOT "closing shop" but, I am not taking orders again till June 1st.

I just feel it is VERY important to use my evenings to spend with my family after work, and my nights to sleep!! haha!!

I L.O.V.E sewing BUT my family time is waaaaay more important!!!

So, come June 1st start sending me those emails and i'll make you all kinds of cuteness this summer! :)

I know. I know. its been awhile since i've posted pics!

Although, i am not going on a "real vacation" this summer, i have decided to take 2 weeks off from PDT in July to just have lots of fun with the Fam and not have orders swimming in my head! ha! So, i will take orders until Monday the 27th. Then i will be "on vacation" :) You can still email me with your order, and be added to my list, but i will not begin any orders that are placed after Monday till the 3rd week of July. For Vacation, i will be spending lots of time playing with these cuties making the best memories!

It seems like lately i've had lots of wedding gift orders and with the Royal Wedding this past weekend Marriage has been a hot topic lately! By the way, did you all watch the Royal Wedding?? I recorded it, but since Korbin still wakes up sometimes for a feeding he was at 4am so it was perfect timing so i watched some of it before falling back asleep and woke up a 5:30 to see Kate stepping out of the car. Wasn't her dress BEAUTIFUL!!! So elegant!

My oldest son started T-ball this year and i can't believe he is already old enough to play! It seems like yesterday i was in the hospital holding him my arms welcoming him into the world. (ok, ok, i have to stop thinking about that....i'm gonna cry)

He played awesome!! We were very proud and all the kids on the team did great! My husband is coaching and it is everyone's first year playing so needless to say it is very entertaining and cute to watch them learn to play and run all over the field!

I'm soooo behind on blogging.

I've been subbing for the past week in 4th grade and sewing late at night and after i work all day, do the mom/wife thing in the evening and then sew at night, i'm so tired i just bag up the item and forget to snap a picture and blog..oh well! You working moms are super women!

Last weekend i took my boys to Disney Live! Mickeys Magic show and we had a blast! Although Kolton was still alittle sick and slept through some of it he still was so happy and is still talking about it! And, of course, i made them some cute shirts to wear!

This week we have stayed home everyday. So i had to get out the messy toys to keep my big guy happy while not getting out and about to run some energy off. PlayDoh isnt very messy so we played it A LOT! Its kolton's new favorite thing..

The reason we have been isolated to our home is my baby boy Korbin has RSV and has been so sick and taking breathing treatments every 4 hours. I hate when my babies are sick, its heartbreaking :(

This picture just breaks my heart at how weak he looks. He is getting better though and getting energy back today!!!

It seems sickness has taken over our home in the past 2 weeks i can not wait for all the germs to leave and be back to normal!

Teething, Toothaches, and TuTus...

Here at the Goins House we have had a rough few days...

As the title of this post states my sweet baby Korbin is teething awful and not sleeping at all. On top of that i have had a TERRIBLE toothache since Saturday and went to the dentist Tuesday morning and had it worked on. I have to have a root canal, i'm not excited AT ALL about that. Also, Kolton is sick with a low grade temp and bad cough. I'm one tired mommy, i hate that my babies aren't feeling good and that i myself i'm not 100% to take care of them...thank God my husband and the grandmas are helping out!!!

On a good note here a some pics of a precious baby gift one of my great customers Amanda ordered for her sister who is getting ready to welcome a baby girl!

The new Banner is made out of fabric and ribbon and can be hung just about anywhere!

I hung Korbin's across his crib as you can see. I have several plans for use of his banner though, it will be used in some of his upcoming photos (i'll post pics of that later, so you get the idea). I can make these horizontal or vertical so they can be hung as a door banner too!
