Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the BIG day!! My csection is scheduled early in the morning so i doubt i'll be doing much sleeping tonight, i'm so anxious and excited!!

Please say a prayer for me tomorrow that God will guide the doctors minds and hands and my sweet lil' boy and myself will do great.

its almost time...

So, no baby yet. i have had false labor for 7days but not bad enough for them to admit me to the hospital and do the c-section early. I am scheduled for a c-section THIS Saturday!! i'll be 39 weeks. I had an emergency c=section with Kolton because his heart rate dropped really low and they had to get him out QUICKLY. I was wisked away to surgery and put to sleep (no time for epidural) not knowing what i was going to wake up to. I thank God every day for watching out for my baby boy who is now as rotten as ever!! He came out healthy and wonderful, but that doesn't mean it wasn't the scariest moment of my life. God is good!

So with that being said, i'm really nervous something may happen again. The dr.'s have reassured me that what happened with Kolton isn't common and are positive it won't happen again. But, that really doesn't ease my mind. Only trusting in God is what is easing my mind! So, if you think about me on Saturday morning say alittle prayer for us!

We are so excited our family of 3 is going to be a family of 4 in just 3 short days. Nick and I talked alot last night about how wonderful God is. We don't understand why, but God has blessed us tremendously! We are very undeserving and praise him for all of our blessings. We can not wait to begin this new journey with another lil' one by our side!! Korbin we can't wait to hold you!!

Pregnancy Update...

YES....i'm still pregnant. 38 weeks now!

How far along: 38weeks

How big is baby: ? according to babycenter.com...61/2 to 7 pounds and 20in. long.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 30lbs

Maternity clothes: Yes. I have lots of tops and dresses that aren't maternity but fit like they are...its hard to find cute maternity ones!

Gender: Its a Boy!!
Movement: Lots! Although lately he has been calmer and had lots of hiccups :)

He is very active at night when i lay down.

My hubby and I love to watch/feel my belly move around! :)
Food Cravings: My appetite is not strong at all right now...i guess being so uncomfortable and the heat. i've been eating cereal alot.

I still like sweets right now and Coke (i limit myself to one every other day...but I HAVE to have one!)

What I miss: Having energy and sleeping on my belly!
Sleep: not getting much...lots of potty trips and contractions.
Best moment of the month: having lots of fun time with Kolton. i wanted to do some fun things with him before another lil' one came into our home. He is gonna be a great big brother. I'm so excited to be having another sweet lil' boy.
What am i looking forward to: Korbin's Birthday! (my c-section is schedule for the 21st, but i've had contractions for 3 days now and my cervix is thinning so it could be ANYTIME the dr. said!)

How far along: 36weeks

How big is baby: according to babycenter.com...6 pounds and 18in. long.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 28lbs

Maternity clothes: Yes. I have lots of tops and dresses that aren't maternity but fit like they are...its hard to find cute maternity ones!

Gender: Its a Boy!!
Movement: LOTS! Movement is starting to hurt alittle.

He is very active at night when i lay down.

My hubby and I love to watch/feel my belly move around! :)
Food Cravings: I like sweets right now and Coke (i limit myself to one every other day...but I HAVE to have one!)
What I miss: Having energy and sleeping on my belly!
Sleep: not getting much...lots of potty trips at night and cramps in my calf muscles :(
Best moment of the month: just the joy of knowing my lil' boy is almost here! And, the showers from my family! I'm so blessed!
What am i looking forward to: Korbin's Birthday!

How far along: 30weeks (this is a late post..tmro i'll actually be 31 weeks!)

How big is baby: accourding to babycenter.com...Korbin is over a 3 pounds and 16in. long.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: not sure...i forgot to ask Dr. last time. i'll update that next time.

Maternity clothes: Yes. I feel huge lately...i have lots of tops that aren't maternity but fit like they are...its hard to find cute maternity ones!

Gender: Its a Boy!!
Movement: LOTS. he is getting bigger and now movement is starting to hurt alittle. I love feeling this lil' boy kick and squirm inside my belly....its blissful!! He is very active at night when i lay down.
Food Cravings: I like sweets right now.
What I miss: Having energy and sleeping on my belly!
Sleep: I do not sleep well at all...lots of potty trips at night and its hard to fall back asleep.
Best moment of the month: Decorating the nursery! and...Kolton now calling my belly "a baby" he "pets" it and says "mommy you ok?" He is so sweet. I can't wait to see him as a Big Brother!! :)
What am i looking forward to: August!!

Pregnancy update!!!

6 MONTHS!

In the picture below, Kolton was kissing my belly but my hubby couldn't catch it on camera :(

I don't think he understands there is a baby in there, but he notices that my belly is BIGGER...ha!

How far along: *in picture* 24 weeks (since this is a LATE post..tmro i'll actually be 26 weeks!)

How big is baby: accourding to babycenter.com...Korbin is over a 1 pound and 12 to 13 in. long.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 15lbs

Maternity clothes: Pants..Yes. Shirts..No. I still wear my regular shirts for the most part. I have some maternity tops i like, its hard to find CUTE maternity tops!

Gender: Its a Boy!!
Movement: I love feeling this lil' boy kick and squirm inside my belly....its blissful!! He is very active at night when i lay down.
Food Cravings: I don't have hardly any cravings. I did crave homemade cupcakes this week though...i ate waaay to many...delish!!!
What I miss: sleeping on my belly!
Sleep: This month I've actually sleep better than the previous months...only 1 or 2 trips to the bathroom a night :) I am happy about that!
Best moment of the month: Celebrating my 3rd Mothers day...I love being a mommy! and...Getting my new glider/rocker. I love it!!! I wanted a really nice one with my first pregnancy and just hated getting it because of how expensive they are. But, my wonderful Mom and mother-n-law refused to let me say no, so they got us one. Its worth it!
What am i looking forward to: Decorating the nursery...We have ALL the stuff its just not up yet. Kolton's "big boy" room is complete but since his bed is so big and high we still let him use the crib/toddler bed to sleep in at night. So, i haven't gotten to decorate the nursery. But he will be moving rooms SOON! I'm a planner and its killing me not to have the nursery finished!!!

ITS A BOY!

How Far Along: 20 Weeks and 1 day

Size of baby:9-10 inches,10 ounces.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 12lbs

Maternity Clothes: pants….not shirts (all mine still fit good right now!)

Gender: BOY! Yes, another rotten lil’ boy! Korbin Boyd Goins

Movement: Yes, i LOVE it! He is very active at night.

There is nothing better than feeling your baby move around inside of your belly!

Food Cravings: none right now, I do have a few food aversions though. My appetite isn’t very strong like it was with my first pregnancy. Everything about this pregnancy has seemed different

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly!!

Sleep: What's that? Frequent trips to the bathroom and tossing and turning cause for a short night of sleep.

Best Moment this Month: finding out the gender and seeing him on the ultrasound! Its amazing having a lil’ baby growing inside me!

What I am looking forward to: Decorating the nursery! I just ordered his bedding today from Pottery Barn….the Turtle Madras set. Sooo cute!!!

Pregnancy Update!

8 WEEKS

12 WEEKS!

I just realized i haven't posted a pregnancy updat.....and, i'm 17 weeks! I've been so busy i don't spend much time on here. But, today i have the day off and i thought i would take a minute to catch you all up with my lil' bundle of joy (aka the trouble maker). I call this baby my lil' trouble maker because its been a rough pregnancy but its gotten better since i've been in the 2nd trimester. Now, i just have some growing pains and i'm having round ligament spasms. (if youv'e been pregnant and had them..ohhh myyy goshh...they hurt!) Anyways, on to the fun stuff!!!

How Far Along: 17 Weeks

Size of baby:5 inches, 5 ounces.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9lbs

Maternity Clothes: just started

Gender: We find out on April 9th!!! i added a gender poll to the side bar. So tell me what you think!

Movement: Yes! Little flutters, i LOVE it!

There is nothing better than feeling your baby move around inside of your belly!

Food Cravings: I craved the steak on a stick and salad at Aubrey's for awhile...but we stopped to eat one day

and they had taken it off the menu. Talk about a mad pregnant girl!! But lately i've craved salad. Just if something taste good, i want alot of it! :)

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly!!

Sleep: What's that? Frequent trips to the bathroom to pee cause for a short night of sleep.

Best Moment this Month: feeling the baby move!

What I am looking forward to: Finding out Boy or Girl! I'm thinking girl, but who knows.
